THE SHACK
The Dawgs' desperation was the mother of motivation. They fell behind 10-0, finished on a 31-7 run, and restored faith in themselves. Once again 10-0 loses.
The Ducks struggled on the road against Wisconsin, turning the ball over in the red zone twice and only scoring one touchdown in a tight 16-13 win over the Badgers.
Here the YTD standings after eleven week's worth of games. It's hard to believe that we only have three weeks remaining in the regular College Football season. Tom McNamara (Audi Memphis & prior winner) is still in 1st after an ok week (like most of us). His AI gambling app didn't help too much this week. Drew Bracket from Winston Salem NC (multi year winner and still must be cheating Joe thinks?) is still in 2nd after having a good week picking Florida over LSU (AI tool must have picked it?). Jordan Echols (Gossett VW/Porsche & multi year winner) finished with 26 points out of 41 this week and yet is still in 3rd. Austin Hill (several year prior winner) is in 4th now after winning Week 12. Mike Wissman (Town of Arlington Mayor) slid to 5th after spending the weekend shuffling kids around and putting up X-Mas lights. My nephew Tom Ahlbrandt (Ahlbrandt Law Firm, LLC) is in 6th even though he didn't pick his alma mater Missouri. He is followed by Michael Ahlbrandt (yours truly) who moved up from 8th to 7th. Chip Pleasant (GM of Audi Memphis and multi-year winner) has moved into 8th after another solid week. I hope he remembers to make his picks this week? Chris Allen(Gossett CJD and my neighbor) is in a tie for 9th with my other nephew Joe Ahlbrandt. Jonathan Richards (Richards Heating and AC) is in 11th now after getting just 22 points this week. This is no time to be falling apart. Alex Bock(Snap Finance and several year winner) is now in 12th all by himself. Wes Hardin (Owner of Armil Construction) has dropped one spot after getting just 25 points this week. If these people can hang on, they may win a "fabulous" prize at the end of the season. I hope everyone by now has figured out the points format for our pool and is enjoying following along with the scores each weekend. Remember, you are in this for 5 more weeks so do not get discouraged. We also have all of the CFP Playoff games to pick so you still have time to move up the ranks. The top 10 people at the end of the year will win a "fabulous" prize. John Henley (F&I Manager @ Gossett CJDR and 2nd year player) is the "Swami" this week so I will get with him after the CFP Ranking comes out Tuesday night to see what he wants to make the "Feature" and "Lame" games. I will post the Week 13 schedule after that on Tuesday evening. The CFP Selection show is at 7:00 PM CST this week.
(The person in last place at the end of the year gets a nice gas station cooler)
Here are the "Dirty Baker's Dozen". Only the top 10 at the end of the season will get to pick from some fabulous prizes.
Once the loudest team in college football, the Buffaloes might be the quietest College Football Playoff contender in the sport.
